Artist's Comments
This is something I just did for the fun of it, and partly to see hwo I'd improved - a redrawn version of Deja, a really ancient character. If you want to laugh your butt off at me, here's the last picture I did of her (circa 2003)
[link] I did make some changes to her obviously - I made her a striped hyena instead of a spotted one, because the spotted ones are brown and the striped ones actually can be whitish. I tried to stay true to her original "style" but I simply could not bring myself to draw that exact outfit again xD In other notes, coloring that much black made me want to smash my head against the computer screen. No more goths again ever. The next character I draw will be dressed in either easter pastels or head-to-toe neon xD Deja's my own creation though. And I did still have fun with this! xD |
